Approximately 1-1.5 liters of water (using more water with a temperature of 20-25°C increases the setting time.) Add 450 gr. of alginate to the container and mix. (It is recommended that the mixer will be more homogeneous and the alginate powder will melt faster.) It must be mixed quickly. The mixture is mixed until it turns from purple to pink (approximately 1 min). Some baby oil or hand cream is applied to the hand or foot to be molded. When the mixture becomes pink, the hands are immersed in the alginate in the mold, close to the bottom but not touching it. The hand is kept in the alginate without moving until the mixture turns completely white (approximately 2-3 min). Then the hands are removed and the stone powder is prepared and poured into the mold.
